Rental rate is from October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008. We require 50% down at time of rental (non-refundable) with the remaining amount due 30 days before function.

Include set-up and break-down in your hourly time. There is no free set-up or break-down time.

Please arrange an area for children to be supervised if they are included in your event.

Any alcohol served becomes the responsibility of lessee. The Canton Theatre has a beer and wine license only. Lessee must sign a waiver releasing the Canton Theatre of all responsibility for overindulgent guests. This becomes the responsibility of the lessee.

No alcoholic beverages are to be taken outside of the building. If your guests do this, you will forfeit your damage deposits.

Weddings and receptions must have one coordinator that works with Canton Theatre.

Any furniture movement must be replaced to original position in theatre.

All trash must be removed from theatre at the end of event. We do not have a dumpster available to the theatre. It is the responsibility of lessee to dispose of trash.

All dishes, glassware, silverware, props, food, flowers, and any other item brought into the theatre for use in your event must be removed from the theatre ant the end of your event. We will not store your items. Any items left will be thrown away.

No smoking in any part of theatre.

If piano is needed on stage for your event, this must be stated at the time of contract signing. There is a $400.00 moving/tuning fee to re-set the piano.

Stage and dressing rooms may be used if the Canton Theatre does not have a production in progress.

If it is a ticked event, the tickets must be sold through the Box Office.

No nailing of posters, ribbons, or others decorations to newel posts or walls of theatre.

A $25 fee is required to put name on marquee. Name will go up day before event, and will be removed within 24 hours after event.

A separate agreement is required between lessee and caterer and any music to be played during event.

Lessee must make all arrangements with any entertainment on a separate contract with entertainment.

The stage door can be used to load-in and load-out bands and other equipment.
